How my journey began

A smiling woman with short dark hair, wearing hoop earrings and a navy blue top, standing in front of a blurred background of glass structures.

I've always been fascinated by people, language, and the ways we make sense of the world around us.

That curiosity first led me to Spanish. What began as learning a language grew into a love of culture, travel, and connection. I studied abroad in Cuernavaca, Mexico, and have traveled throughout the Spanish-speaking world, including Chile, Argentina, and Spain.

For the past 23 years, I've taught Spanish and helped students discover that language is about much more than vocabulary and grammar. Along the way, I've served as a World Language Department Chairperson, lead curriculum writer, teacher mentor, and cooperating teacher. My AP Spanish students have consistently earned scores that exceed state and national averages.

Outside the classroom, yoga has been a steady part of my life for more than 15 years. As a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher and a graduate of Lumia's Life Coaching Essentials Program, I've expanded my work beyond language learning to support personal growth, well-being, and life's many transitions.

Today, I bring together my experience as an educator, coach, yoga teacher, and author to help people learn, grow, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
